MTB 494

During an action in the night of 6 on 7 April 1945 three MTBs of 22nd MTB Flotilla (MTB 493, 494 & 497) clashed with their German counterparts of 2. Schnellbootsflotille.
Just after 02.12 hrs S 176 (Oberleutnant zur See Friedrich-Wilhelm Stockfleht) rammed MTB 494.
The boat sunk and only two crew members were saved; the other thirteen didn't survive.
